If you were to start a Basketball Franchise; who'd you pick first?

I'd pick Steve Nash or LeBron James, I'm leaning towards Steve Nash.

king james is the younger and will become better than nash. thats who i would take.

same, steve nash is a team leader and if i were to start a bball franchise he's just the guy i would need.
I'd pick Rasheed Wallace - yes we all know he is Mr. T(echnical) but he is one of the best PF in the league as he is dangerous in the low post but for a guy at 6'11 he can also shoot 3s consistantly.
Lebron James
LeBron or Chris Paul. Both amazing players that are young that could grow with your franchise unlike Steve Nash...who's about 10 years older than both of them. And they both have great careers ahead of them and they help make the players around them better too.

Kobe is the most marketable player.

Nash is good but plays absolutely NO defense, and I would need to switch to a run and gun offense to suit him, and that offense hardly ever does good in the playoffs.

Lebron would be an iffy pick, since my team would be in the western conference. And, again, his defense is sub-par.
