How many hours a day do u play video games?

i play about 4 hrs a day or so,i mean alot of people play games, i was watching espn and even lebron james said he averages 3 hrs a day, so how many hrs on average do u spend playing?

sorry,i don't play!
well, nowadays i seldom play games, but i always surf net. my average on surfing net is 2 1/2 hrs per day. i am so free. if i don't surf net, what else could i do? but my parent forbid me to sit in front of pc for too long time, because it is bad for health. so only 2 and half hr a day.
Like 8, but I'm a balla.

Why are so many poeple interested in the lifes of famous people?

Like for example, LeBron James was caught speeding 101 mph.. Like who cares?

If a normal person was speeding it wouldn't be all over the news, people need to grow up and need to get with there own lifes such as paporazzi taking pictures of people who they wish to be like, and just lie about the lives of other people..

Anyone care to agree?

Why are so many poeple interested in the lifes of famous people?2003 nba draft

I couldn't careless about any celebrity.

They live in a world of wealth and privilege and I can't relate to their world what so ever. Then many have the audacity to act as if they are 'deserving" of their "celebrity status".

Tell me, what one worthy thing has Paris Hilton done with her life?

Why are so many poeple interested in the lifes of famous people?nba free agents ,nba teams

maybe they wanna be kool and wanna make money
some people don't have enough life of their own and so they need to know everything about famous people. also, i think a lot of people like to be reminded that even though they're famous they're still people.
People like to live vicariously through the lives of others. And then they like to tell people how they would do everything differently.
yeah i agree with you.

its dumb.

but people like to take the attention off themselves and their own flaws and magnify others...which in this case would be those of celebrities.

because they are thought to be flawless and perfect, and people just don't see that they are human just like we are.

and they need to layyyy offf ittt.
Because we live vicariously through others. Our own lives are so boring and uneventful, we become obsessed with celebs because they're exciting. I don't know about the speeding thing, that seems a little common place, but in general.

I am greek so i couldnt be happier we won but i also am a litle sad that the US lost.If i made the US team then this would be my roster.

SG

Ray Allen

PG

Chauncey Billups

Bench

PF Zach Randolph

PF Jermaine O'Neal

SF Tayshaun Prince

SF Carmello Anthony

G Dwayne Wade

G J.J. Redick

G TJ Ford

This team has Defense,speed,shooting,assists... and low presense

If you were in charge of making the US team?nba salary

PG- Iverson- more heart than anyone in the game, 32 ppg, 7 apg, the BEST American point guard in the league. they said he would slow down since his rookie year, and he has proved them wrong every year.

SG- Kobe- the best SG in the league, even tho he occasionally plays forward. Can shoot the three, drive the lane, dunk, plays good defense. He is one of the top five players in the league.

SF- McGrady- If he was healthy, no stopping him. He too can shoot the three, drive the lane, he usually sucks on defense, but he has his moments.

PF- Kevin Garnett- Arguably the best player in the league, very well rounded, one of the few players who still shoot the mid range jumper, had 62 double-doubles last season, easily led the league in those. Adds athletic defense, along with swingman offense, an athletic forward who can run the break and get a good first step on any defender.

C- Shaq- even tho i hate him, he is still the best center in the league. Wallace needs to improve his offense before hes my starter.

Reserves-

PG- Chris Paul

SG- Ray Allen (3 pt shooter)

SF- Vince Carter

PF- Tim Duncan

C- Ben Wallace

G/F- Dwyane Wade

F- Amare Stoudemire

If you were in charge of making the US team?nba jerseys ,nba teams

That's a nice roster you put together, only guy I would leave off is Zach Randolph, major question about his attitude and work ethic...
what is lacking with the us team is experience and leadership everyone is young. reason is they are building up for the future and not the present. but u.s. or nba has a lot of talent to win an internarional competition NOW. it should be a combination of youth and experience

c- shaq

pf- TIM DUNCAN

hey stupid---

JJ reddick sucks, who the hell is Randolph%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; TJ Ford, 12 points a game???? , who is that%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; and some of them are plain stupid picks. what about Shaq, garnette, Kobe(yuck), Iverson,

other thing stupid===== they wont play... they make up excuses not to play...

the Original DReam TEam. wanted to play.

Wilkins, Jordan, Bird, Barkly, they wanted to be there....
I wouldn't inlcude J.J. Redick on the team, simply because he's too one-dimensional and can't play defense.

I like the idea of including defenders like Wallace and Prince along with guys who can score both by driving the lane (Wade and Lebron) as well as from mid-range jumpers (Ray Allen). I really think the big thing is to get defenders - it was embarassing to watch a team today that had no idea how to handle a pick-and-roll that we all knew was coming, but that they ran on us all day.

Also, I would not have Coach K on that bench. Anyone can win NCAA championships when you have by far the richest talent depth in the country, but it takes a different leader to win with a group of NBAers against elite competition from other countries.
C-Shaq- he would of destoryed Greeces big man and he wouldnt of had to cover that guy on the outside

Pf- Tim Duncan- plays for the spurs so he can play for a team and is the best skilled big man in the world

SF- Lebron James- only person greece could not stop yesterday the man is a freak

SG- Kobe bryant if he plays against the suns with the assist and everything he would make the US team 100000000X better and he can shoot the deep ball especialy with the line moved in

PG- Jason Kidd
Sad that USA lost? Why? I'm Greek too. I would be less happy if we had won a European country.....Sa for what???? For owing their "strength" to anabolic and for plying individually? For not having team spirit? For taking for granted that they would win the gold metal?????

I would say Terrell Owens, he was dunking on people in the celebrity game and is a beast on the football field.

Out of those? Lebron for sure. He's sooooooo good!

Steve Nash is really good too... he's my fav nba player...
lebron is probably most athletic out of all of them. kobes still a better ball player than him rite now tho.

Is Tim Duncan going to get another ring before his career is over, and if so how many?

I'm a Tim Duncan fan and I'd love to see him get another ring or two before his career is over. My two favorite players overall are Duncan and Garnett! They don't give you 30 or 40 a night like Kobe Bryant, or Lebron James. They're Blue Collar workers in the NBA. They work extremely hard to give you that consistency of 20 pts., 10 rebounds, 3 asts.(minimum) a night., 2 block shots a game. I think Garnett and Duncan will be my favorites for a long time, before them it was Grant Hill and Shawn Kemp, before them it was Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, and Magic Johnson. They're all my time team members. Who will be my favorites in the present after these guys? Who knows! Anyway, back to the subject will Tim Duncan get one or two more before his career is through?

He is going to get 0. GO MAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it is likely, because the Spurs were neck and neck with the Mavs last year and Timmy was banged up a lot of the season and playoffs. So perhaps he can be healthy this year. Players to look for in the future are Amare Stoudamire and perhaps Ben Wallace?
Tim will get atleast another ring, maybe 2
this will be his last or second to last year. their is no way he is gona get another ring. right of the top of my head i can list 4 or 5 teams that are better then the spurs in the west....mavs,suns, clippers, timberwolves will be this year with the addition of mike james and randy foye, i predict the west seadings to look about like this...

1. mavericks

2. clippers

3. suns

4. timberwolves

5. memphis

6. spurs

7. kings

8. lakers
Yes and 3-5 rings. I'm too a Duncan fan.

GO SPURS GO.
Tim Duncan is a terrific player, and I hope he plays his entire career in San Antonio (like David Robinson before him). It's special to see a player spend their entire career with one franchise, because it's so rare in this day of free agency. I wouldn't be surprised if he wins another title or two, but it depends on his health, his teammates, and of course, the competition. Even if he never wins another ring, he's a future hall of fame inductee. Along with Karl Malone, he's the greatest power forward of all time. I like Garnett as well, but his teams have never had the sustained success that Duncan and Malone enjoyed. Until Garnett can at least make one trip to the finals, he'll always be regarded as an underachiever. I just don't think it's ever going to happen for him in Minnesota. He deserves a chance to play for a better organization.
lets face it tim duncan is getting old his feet are in horrible condition theres no way he can beat the mavs or the suns let alone guard shaq 7 games.

Which non-big is the best around the rim finisher in the NBA?

Who can finish within the trees and make the spectacular, akward, and astonishing plays? The paint is ruled by the big men defensively, but many try to get to the rim and finish.

Some names to start it off

Kobe Bryant

T-Mac

Vince Carter

Tony Parker

Steve Nash

Chris Paul

Dwayne Wade

Lebron James

Manu Ginobli (my pick)

any other suggestions?

Give some examples, don't just state a name please.

Remember we are talking non-bigs, so guards and small forwards.

Which non-big is the best around the rim finisher in the NBA?nba fights

TONY PARKER ******!!!!

I love Ginobili, but he is 6'6, and Parker is 6'2

Parker is leading the league in FG % because he is the best in the L at finishing at the rim. He is also leading the Spurs in PPG in the finals because of that reason. Also TP is the fastest on the list and has one of the sickest crossovers in the L!!!

Not to mention he is marrying EVA LONGORIA!!! he is stealing my chick!!! But dont hate the playa, hate the game!!!

Which non-big is the best around the rim finisher in the NBA?fan gear ,nba teams

Vince Carter- I saw a highlight of one of his games where he dunked over a guy 6'8". even though he got called for a charging foul it was awesome.
Well, Ginobilli isn't a bad pick, despite how he always looks so out of control going to rim.

I think it's either LeBron, Kobe or Parker.

If you think about it, LeBron has the body of a power forward but plays on the perimeter. He's actually stronger than half the big men who play, so his strength and athletic abilities allows him to finish around the rim a lot more easily than other perimeter players.

It seems Kobe usually hangs in the air longer than any other player out there except D-Wade, and Kobe is also one the strongest guards in the league if it gets physical.

I believe Parker leads the league in points in the paint for guards; and this is for two simple reasons. One: He is one of the top three faster guys in the league. Two: His girly, yet extremely accurate, little tear drops he throws up.

Out of the three, I think I sadly have to award it to Parker.
have you forgot Iverson?
Deron Williams ,did u not watch the series he had against the spurs when he singlehandly brought utah back in the second half and dunked over elson or oberto one and

of the ones u named i would go from first to last

dwanye wade

chris paul

manu ginobli

lebron james

steve nash(more of an assist guy)

tony parker

t-mac

kobe bryant

vince carter
I don't personally consider Lebron a non-big considering he's just as big as many of the "bigs" only faster. If you count him as a non-big tho, he is easily the best now and one of the best ever at finishing around the rim. Since I don't consider him a non-big tho, my pick for the best around the rim finisher is Baron Davis because of how he dominated inside against the Mavs and throughout his career. He is one of the most underrated if not the most underrated in the league.
Iverson is the king of the little people. He scores when he wants to. I just dont think he wants as much as he used to.
Dwayne Wade is the best finisher around the basket, plus he is a pretty good free throw shooter for and 1's. Kevin Durant is the second best already!!!
Jameer Nelson

Andre Igoudala

Amare Stoudamire

Gerald Green

Chris Webber

Josh Smith

Richard Jefferson

Michael Redd
Tony Parker.....hands down
Allen Iverson by far!!

Why are the best dunkers not in the dunk contest?college basketball ,nba teams

because NBA has a rule that the participants of the dunk contest has to be in their rookie, second season or 3rd year in the league..

here's my possible dunk participants this season :

gerald green - reigning champ, 3rd season

kevin durant - rookie

james white - rookie

josh mcroberts - rookie
Kobe, vince and those players have been in the dunk contest some point in their career, and right now they are super stars, and dunk contest has been about young players right now.

As of James, he's a great dunker but lacks creativity, all of his high flying dunks basically looked the same.

I agree with you, Howard and igudola got cheated, they should've been the champions of the last 2 contests, the most meomorable dunk was Howard putting the sticker high up on the glass while dunking.
Its because their probably offered the chance to be a part of it and just turn down the offer due to them either not wanting to risk injury, thinking its a waste of their time, or just simply arent interested!
First to stevenashty21, James White is a second year player. And T-mac was in the 2000 slam dunk contest. VC won the 2000 dunk contest. Kobe won the 1997 dunk contest. LeBron wanted everyone to know him not as a dunker, but an actual player. Plus, he keeps saying that there are no original dunks out there anymore (he needs to come and talk to me). Josh Smith won the 2005 contest. J-Rich won the 2002, 2003, and should've won 2004 contest. And Dwight Howard wasn't explosive enough.
Because they don't want to risk anything or as LeBron James said they don't want to!!!
t-mac, vince, kobe, josh smith,j-rich, and dwight howard have already been in a dunk contest

andre wasnt cheated, to be 5'7" nd jump 10' is incredible in any circumstance

andre had great dunks but nate had almost great dunks nd he has to put more effort in the dunk because he is short

i know how he feels im short too

dwight howard? wtf r u smokin?? yea that sticker dunk was kool and funny but not spectacular gerald green had that s*** in the bag from the beginning

and who the hell is derek anderson?? lol
idk, my bff jill
I have the same sentiment, it seemed that Iguodala was cheated. It was suppose to be a dunk contest but it turned into the Spud-Webb-tribute-let-the-closest-in-hei...

It's a great move by the NBA to have past dunk champs like Dr. J, Nique, MJ, VC, Kobe judge it last time. I think only this select few are the best judges in the all-star dunk contest..
there must be a limit for players due to the performances of the dunk contests
they dont want to risk the chance of injuring themselves and missing the rest of the season.
Because They dont want to get hurt!!!!!!!!!!!
because the dunk contest isnt what it use to be.the top players would rather relax than have to do dunk after dunk.Kobe was in the dunk contest once so he did participate.Besides what if Lebron or vince carter hurt themselves performing a dunk? I'm sure their teams would'nt be to happy about it.
Becasue its not that hype like it was years ago.

I think italy is two because didn't they off Lebron James a contract and then Spain and Argentina but after that I don't know.

What are the top 10 Basketball leagues worldwide? What is the average and highest salary in the leagues.?nba referee

We are considered #1 in terms of competition, and the league in Spain is considered second to the US. Macabi Tel Aviv of Israel is also a good team. Italian(a lot of the Argentian players played here before heading to the NBA) league is good honing the skills of then-prospects Emanuel Ginobli, and Andres Nocioni. Serbia-Montenegro fielded very good teams in the past, they're Olympic team was a powerhouse in the past consisting of Peja Stojakovic, Vlade Divac, Radmonovic, etc. but they politically dissolvement ruined them splitting the country post-2004 Olympics. The French do below average in world games but they have been producing good talent in their league in France. Tony Parker plaed in the EU-18 league prior to be drafted by the Spurs. They also have produced players like Boris Diaw, Michael Pietrus, and Ronny Turiaf but their best player yet in terms of potential is Nicolas Batum. He'll hit stateside in a year or two. Sorry but I have to go, but in terms of talent its the NBA, Spain, Italy, France, China, can't think of others oh well, Hope this helps.

U NOT A TRUE FAN TO NEITHER IF YOU NEED HELP 2 DECIDE
Im a cavalier fan so ill say celtics,,, dont bring that bandwagon **** around the cavs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
I'm assuming you live in neither's state. Chose LeBron. The kid is 23 and with an upside. If he doesn't win this year look for next. The Celtics have a 3 year window and the Cavs may nave closed it. Also, don't jump on every bandwagon. You will really be hated on if in green.

This is after all the hate you've received. Wow. You've angered a lot. You should chose me as best answer cause I would like as many Cav and LeBron fans as we can get. Taking a trip to the finals, too.
well then that makes you a fair weathered fan and a bandwagoner, these are the worst types of fans. only liking a team because theyre good. how about you just find 1 team and stick with them forever. try choosing your hometown team or the team closest to you or the team you get most on the tv and support them instead.
Don't come near Lakers Nation. Hate idiots bandwagoners like you
do what you think is right you really shouldn't root for the celtics just because they are good if it was last year you wouldn't be rooting for them at all and the cavs went to the final so you were probably rooting for them so root for the cavs
i think you should go for your favorite team

its stupid when people switch teams

just because they're winning
Dude, dont be a frontrunner and root for the best team out there right now. Im a knicks fan and i stick with my team for the past 7 losing seasons, and i get pissed off when frontrunners who are undecided and dont know much about basketball come in wearing a celtics jersey. just get the jersey of your favorite player...dont be a frontrunner, nobody likes that...that is the worst type of basketball fan, someone who doesnt know anything, yet jumps in on the bandwagon and 'roots' for 'his' team that he 'liked all along!'. Knicks! Seven losing seasons and i still got my hat on son!
go for cavs watch lebron he's the man
yu shud buy a lebron jersey :) if he yo fav player
You cant just pick up a team to start supporting especially between two teams that will be battling for the eastern conference championship (the Cavs probably wont be but at least theyll have a chance by being in the playoffs). You need a team that you will be able to stay with forever not just the up and coming teams or the teams with the superstar players (which is obviously what youre doing). Dont jump on the bandwagons, support your home team or the team that you feel you can stay with through anything.
Cavaliers...
stick with the cavs, dont be a bandwagoner
cavs . celtics are inconsistent

Fans of a western conference team, your opinion?

Now at the minute, the big race for MVP is between LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. I was just wondering on what the opinion of fans of a western conference team have on it.

I mean we all know the west is a tougher conference so do you all think Kobe deserves MVP more than LeBron.

Share your thoughts.

Also, can i have nobody saying stupid answers and don't bring other players into it ie. chris paul and dwight howard because this question is solely about LeBron and Kobe.

well LeBron is a better player, Kobe does NOT deserve MVP because he has too much help around him, we saw on Sunday wat happens when he has no help, it reminded me of LeBron, but Kobe was much more of a ballhog, he took 31 SHOTS!!

CP3

T-MAC

Fans of a western conference team, your opinion?pro basketball ,nba teams

Kobe and LeBron are the only consistant leaders, and that is why they are the only 2 MVP candidates, with the exception of Chris Paul. T-Mac will not win because he is not always the player who leads them to a win. Announcers say it is because he is more into the team than himself, and sometimes that is true, but other times he might have 15 points because he missed 20 shots, he tried but didn't make them all, so he does not deserve it. People say that the Lakers are only good because of Pau Gasol, not true. The Lakers were really good without him, but look at what Gasol did in Memphis, nothing, so it isn't like Gasol is now the best player on the Lakers, if Kobe was gone they would be better than Memphis but not in the playoff picture. I do not think LeBron can win it becuase his team is in 4 in the East. Kobe is going back and forth with 1st in the West. And if you think about it, it's been the Lakers up at the top all year, going between 1 and 2. The Spurs have dropped, the Rockets are just on a winning streak, after they come back down to earth they will drop in the standings. I think Kobe deserves it, he is sacrficing a lot, I know people don't think that, but his shot attempts are down from 27 to 20 in 2 years, and they are winning, that is the main thing. 2 years ago when Kobe averaged 35 ppg, they said he was not MVP because his team was not the best in the west. This year, even though LeBron has big number, his team is not winning in the east, they HAVE to do that, at least catch up to Detroit, maybe not Boston, but they HAVE to be on the Piston's level for me to believe that LeBron is MVP worthy. But he will have many MVP awards before he retires.
Lebron is garbage Kobe is way better..Last year when the Cavs made it to the finals it was like a Cake walk for them and injured wizards team then a crapyy nets team that beat a even more crappy raptors team then i dont know how the hell they got by the pistons if that was Kobe against the Spurs they would at least send it to game 6 y bcuz Kobe would step up and dominate

Kobe deservs MVP FOR SURE
Well im a eastern fan and here is what i have to say

Well right now i do live in cleveland so yeah but im actully going with kobe lebron i guess you can say is equal but lebron is more reconized for the 50 plus pointers while kobe is overall a better player but yeah i think its all going to tie down to the end guess we just gotta wait and find out but id like to point something out...the eastern confrence has the celtics as well as a few other good teams so i wouldnt say ether confrence is harder
Again?

Next question PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kobe because he is in the west and has to bring it every night to keep up. and he is making his teammates better. and he is performing amazing.
lebron has better stats than kobe but i don't invest too much in that b/c lebron plays in a inferior conference. the cavs are fourth in the east which means they'd be out of the playoffs in the west. kobe makes the most difficult shots. plus kobe is on a better team and he plays so great even with TWO TORN LIGAMENTS in his finger! that's amazing. Kobe is the MVP, period.
LeBron is the better player but kobe the second best player has the better team. So therefore Kobe wins.
T-Mac

He has done more for his team than either of the players that you named.
I think the western confernece is good but the Eastern used to dominate the NBA( Pistons, celtics- rajon rondo)
Lebron = Stronger Stats + losses

Kobe = Stats + wins + a chance at the title

Kobe wins, no doubt. If he was getting wins these past three years he would have won the MVP by now.

Who would you want to take the last shot?

if you would want to win a game with 1.5 second left, who would you give it to?

He has more game winners then James and Wade, and I don't think KWAME has ever had one.

Maybe 1.5 is too much time for Fisher anyway... ha ha!!!

KOBE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kobe Bryant- hands down

Unless MJ was on the list.

Lebron has missed one to many buzzer beaters, hes not that clutch, just a great all around player.

Wade- If he was healthly, he might be in contention b/c he is as clutch as they come.

Kwame Brown? only if the score was already 100-75 and the lakers were winning.
KWAME BROWN of course!

Everybody's looking for the other three.
Bron Bron
Kobe. He's the most experienced of the bunch and possibly the best in the NBA. I'd also think about Lebron, but Kobe has shown more clutch tendencies over his time in the league than has Lebron.
i would perfer Kobe taking the last shot he's the better shooter out of the three he's proving over the years that he is the most clutch of all three and he can hit from anywhere on any degree of difficulty although if I had to choose one of them to drive to the rim for the game winner I'll take Lebron he's the best in the game when it comes to driving the ball %26amp; I would take D-Wade if I had to pick one of them to find a team mate 2 seconds left down one a player on the line I would have Kobe shoot the free throws he been there before in every situation we all know when it comes to free throws how Lebron's story turns out D-wade is a excellent free throw shooter but If I had to choose one one them to make 99 out of a hundread I'll take Kobe
Kobe Bryant because he's the best shooter out of all of them.
kobe... he's hit more game winners than all of the other 3 combined...
Chauncey Billups. Mr Big Shot.
None of them. If the game is on the line, I want the ball in the hands of Steve Nash. I don't care if he's dishing it or shooting it. He's a clutch player, and one of the best shooters in the game. It's easy for him to get his shot too, because everyone thinks he's going to pass it to Amare of a dunk.
Out of this list gotta go with Kobe, can't stand him but he can knock it down with the game on the line...

All time... Robert Horry if a 3 pointer was needed

MJ for anything else... With Craig Ehlo defending him of course... or maybe Byron Russell...
Dwyane Wade coz he has a range.
Kobe Bryant

and not because he is really really good. he is consistent. consistency is important in basketball. I mean you got a guy like shaq. sure he might be able to make a free throw once in a while, but does he make every one ? no

last nights game bryant scored 18 points !

his last years average was 21. Id say thats a pretty good spot to be picked

My oppinion tho.

but i think you like KWAME BROWN its the only name you capitalized %26gt;.%26lt;
once again KWAME BROWN because their is nobody else like him in the nba.
Kobe. The rest on that list can kiss my ***.
Dwayne wade all the way. he is just so keen in those situation's its like he can't miss!!!
Kobe...he's got more game winners than the others you list combined. The guy has ice water in his veins...steady as she goes...etc.
Kobe, because he can shoot, and because they ALWAYS give it to him
Wade Cause He Does Not Have a Good Jump Shot But At The Finish He Makes It
give KWAME the ball baby!!! let him show off his magic!
i'd love to say d.wade but his jump shot is not really the best among the 3 (yes i only consider 3 =D)... kobe is the man on this one... =)

but among all-time i would take reggie miller... all he does is put daggers in the heart... that is truly clutch!!!
Kobe coz he always scores

Mike Conley just won the starting job in Memphis, and he put up pretty good numbers in his first game. He's only a rookie and he's coming off an injury, but he should get better.

Devin Harris of the Mavericks is still fairly young and is finally getting good minutes after being stuck behind Jason Terry for a few years. He probably won't get much better than he's doing right now for the rest of the season.

brandon roy, deron williams
You have to go with Brandon Roy. This guy is already turning into a star after a couple of seasons in the league now. He has the ability to score and can dish the ball out as well. This guy should be an All-star regular for years to come.
Brandon Roy is your best bet. He's a future all-star who's already a top scorer. However, he's more of a shooter. If you're looking for a better passing PG, I'd really look at Jose Calderon and Mike Conley Jr.

That's a pretty solid team. You have a lot of stars that will be playing night in and night out. I guess it's reasonable since you have a 8 team league. You might want to get some more depth at the center position though. Howard is a liability on the free throw line, and Dalembert isn't all that great of a center aside from grabbing a lot of boards. Wade, Rip, LeBron, and BG will get you your fair share of points for sure. Nene isn't that dependable either. Overall though, I would say you have a pretty good team.

What do you think of this fantasy basketball team?nba 2k8 ,nba teams

strong line up...though nene and dalembert (and ellis if he's still injured) would be hurting you thru missed games...but all throughout your line up, it's really competitive!
You seem to be solid but Dalembert is hurting so think you need to to pick up a shot blocker.
thats pretty damn good man, i think you got it down..

Good luck, i wouldn't really make any changes just maybe get some better power forwards in there... :)

There is no way a team could beat a team that had Jordan, Iveson, or Bryant taking it to the basket with the option to kick it out to either Miller or Bird with 4 of the best big men ever in the paint. The other team couldn't defend or score. In fact it's hard to beat a team that has 2 great big men period which rarely happens except like in San Antonio. Imagine 4 Big Men. 4 Big Men would grab every rebound that the other team missed. Any NBA team in their right mind would start 2 dominant centers if it were possible. If there were enough 7 footers around you would see the Center and PF positiion more interchangeble than it is. Just imagine if Jordan played wit the twin towers.

Points? These guys can score more than a hundred by themselves? Rebounds? All 5 can get double digits in a game. Assists? These people all know how to pass the ball. Blocks? Anybody got a better match-up on the Bill-Wilt combo? Steals? Jordan and Russell are two of the best defensive players, with Jordan handling all 3 small positions and Russell defending any type of big man. You want offense? Magic at point with Bird and Jordan at the wings, and Wilt dominating the inside. You want defense? Interior will never be a problem with Bill at the slot. Phil Jackson, the Zen Master would just have to lie back and relax. Oh, I can probably go on all day with these 5 guys..

Kobe is actually my favorite player but sometimes he's a little too crazy with his shot selection. If I was a GM and had to pick a player, there's no way I would pick against Jordan. Also, Lebron can't play D and Bird is a very necessary three point shooter. Finally, you can't have Wilt and Shaq because neither of them could shoot from further than 5 feet out.
With a team like this, you need a point guard with a pass first mentality. It's hard to not pick John Stockton, but I'll go with Magic because of his size, and versatility.

POINT GUARD: Magic Johnson

Shooting guard, hmmm....that Jordan guy was pretty clutch. I hate to leave off Jerry West, or Oscar Robertson, but...

SHOOTING GUARD: Michael Jordan

You need a guy in the starting five who is a great shooter. The major weakness in some of our recent olympic squads has been a lack of consistent outside shooting to help stretch the defense. I might be giving up a little athleticism as this position, but I'm going to choose Larry Bird. His passing ability is also a huge asset.

SMALL FORWARD: Larry Bird

I could cheat and move a guy who is actually a center over to this position, but instead I'm going to select the prototype power forward of all time, the Mailman. This guy could really run the floor, and he was also an above average rebounder and defender. Few players, if any, played through injuries the way this guy could. It is difficult to pass over Tim Duncan, but...

POWER FORWARD: Karl Malone

Who to anchor your team in the middle?? Shaq? Olajuwon? Wilt? The Admiral? Ewing? Bill Russell? I'm going to go with Kareem. His sky hook was the ultimate "go to" shot, and he's the leagues all time leading scorer.

CENTER: Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar

Who should coach this team?? I don't think any respectable coach could mess up this team. I'll go with Rudy T.

The Bench: A bunch of guys waving towels.
Abdul-Jabbar

Bird

Baylor

Jordan

Johnson

Riley

How come Kobe is an all-defensive player of the year when he haven't "shut down" anyb

Lebron is a better defender this playoffs. Kobe never "Shut down" Ginobili or whoever he's defending. Ginobili actually explode on him when he had an INJURY.

And don't call me a hater when the Lakers fan are actually the one hating on Lebron James.

And how do you explain this...

Kobe - FG% 45.6

Jordan - FG %49.8

They took about a thousands shot so it does matter

How come Kobe is an all-defensive player of the year when he haven't "shut down" anybody this playoffs?nba store

As I said before, Kobe's defense is good, but overrated.

His all-defense 1st-team honors are like Shakespeare in Love winning the Oscar over Saving Private Ryan.

There are tons better defender in the NBA, but Kobe hogs the media attention and, therefore, the media votes.

Chris Paul led the league in steals and he's All-Defense second team because Kobe is in the all-defense first team... (Bruce Bowen is the other guard-forward, but he deserves to be there.) And tell me how Kobe's defense is better than Josh Smith, who's not even on either of the teams.

Oh great! It's Gwyneth Paltrow! Ask her who she's dating! Brad Pitt? Wow, she's taken her clothes off, let's just hand her the Oscars! (1998)

How come Kobe is an all-defensive player of the year when he haven't "shut down" anybody this playoffs?nba salary ,nba teams

Game 1, Manu Ginobli:

3 for 13, 10 points

Game 2, Manu Ginobli:

2 for 8, 7 points

Game 3, Manu Ginobli:

9 for 15, 30 points

Game 4, Manu Ginobli:

2 for 8, 7 points

Game 5, Manu Ginobli:

3 for 9, 9 points

Your an idiot. Manu Ginobli averaged 17.8 PPG in the playoffs (Even including those game I listed bringing down the average) and 19.5 in the regular season, Kobe held him to below that, by a large margin, 4 out of the five game. Sounds pretty good to me.

Some other guys Kobe guarded:

Carmelo Anthony

.364 FG%

.250 3P%

22.5 PPG (25.7 regular season average)

Allen Iverson

.434 FG%

.214 3P%

24.5 PPG (26.4 regular season average)

So who, exactly, did Lebron shut down? Some no name player that they always give Lebron to guard? Exactly.
Dude, for the record, stop bitching, because you know the truth already.

Who is more believable? A guy who wastes his time on Y!answers hating on Kobe and talking smack about him or Phil Jackson, a guy who has 9 rings in his hand and is the most respectable coach today?

You're just a crap, to tell you exactly.

And to mess with some intelligent Laker fans(look at the answers above) just makes you look like dumb.

And one more thing, how can you have the nerve to tell us that LBJ is better, can you tell me exactly where he is right now?

Right. He is at a private beach trying to catch some fish in the seaside in Ohio.

Have a nice day, hater.
stop hating bro...

kobe didnt even need to defend anybody this postseason, everyone has breen smoked and there is no dominant player at his position that he would have guarded anyways.

and by the way us Laker fans were routing for LEBRON all last year during the playoffs cuz we love to see kobe finally getting at least a little compition for the best of this decade.
LoL .. why are you bring Their FG% ? lol espiacilly Jordan's FG% ?!?!?

How do i explain Jordan's FG% VS Kobe's..

Ummm Maybe because Kobe took 1414 more 3 pointers and tons from 18-21 ft shots than Jordan ? umm maybe thats why.. But i do agree that Jordan had better shots selection that Kobe was tho .. but Kobe is taking less though shots now espiacilly in playoffs

Anyway you MORON .. All NBA-Defensive Team is for regular season .. not playoffs ..

Who was Kobe supposed to shut down in playoffs ?? Manu ? pff gime a me a break ... go look at what Manu did against Lakers

And Where is Lebron at ? Fishing ? thats what i thought ..where was Lebron when Pierce scored 41 on his @ss on 56 % ???????
hahaha...now tell me who he's gaurded...u dont even know...u just thought u were cool by being a kobe hater...ginobli scored less then 10 in 3 games...ronnie brewer had absolutely nothing to brag about...and dont even het me started on anthony carter...lebron couldnt shut down caron butler or paul pierce...if lebrons defense was so good why arent the cavs in the finals?????
Then explain this .....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3X274lz3...

Jordan made the all-defensive team that year and got schooled by a rookie!
ok ur just another hater if lebron is better how come he isnt playing against the lakers this year and Paul Pierce out played lebron in game 7
Because its not during the play offs its during the regular season.. all stats are different in the play offs..sometimes they are better anfd some are worst bunobody knows wats gonna happen
this is why

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fn4lhTPtp...
Well to bad the award is not for the playoffs ....and ya you are a hater if you werent a hater u wouldnt put put MJ's FG% when you talk about DEFENSE......
Kobe held him under10 points or less in 4 out of 5 games you fool
You're a hater
what does MJ's FG% have to do with Kobes Defense???

I think I will call you a HATER
Zzzz...
you - 0.01 FG%
xactly its all b.s. there r tons of nba defenders that defend better than kobe like

raja bell

shawn marion

josh smith

so on

like i said b4 if these retards actually watch a game they wood c that lebron does play better defense than kobe

kobe = OVER-RATED!

If you had to start a franchise which two players would you choose?

Kobe Bryant (best player in NBA history)

Paul Pierce (One of the best players in NBA)

Tracy McGrady (all talk but no way out of 1st round)

Michael Redd (best left handed player in NBA)

Lebron James (overrated player)

Carmelo Anthony (good mid range game)

Dwyane Wade (extremely overrated player)

Chris Bosh (very capable of scoring)

If you had to start a franchise which two players would you choose?nba live 2008

Judging from your list, I'd take D-Wade and LeBron as my 2 cornerstone players because they have proven themselves to be very clutch players. LeBron singlehandedly beat the Pistons in Game 5 of the postseason last year and D-Wade lead Miami to an NBA championship over Dallas. The reason why I choose these 2 guys is because they are unselfish players who are willing to pass the ball and share the glory. Having a D-Wade and LeBron on the same team, I probably don't even need an inside player because these 2 guys command so much attention that it will open up shots for their teammates. They both have a well-rounded game and they do play defense as evident by their 2 steals and 1 block average per game. You can't go wrong having these 2 on your team.

If you had to start a franchise which two players would you choose?nba live 2005 ,nba teams

Of those players?

LeBron and Chris Bosh.

That gives you an inside/outside combo of a similar age... they will mature together and peak together. And it gives you time to build the rest of the franchise, where as if you grab Kobe or one of the other vets, your window is much smaller.

BTW, your oppinions on these players are, of course, valid, but mine differ.

I gotta say, Kobe is awesome, but better than Mike? How do you figure that? Better than Oscar? How? Better than Wilt? In what respect? Better than Russell? In regards to what? I'd rate him high (and I love watching him), but it's very debatable where.

Paul Pierce? Um.... yes... he's good... but I can name about 15 guys I pick before him. (If you care, in no particular order: Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, AI, Wade, KG, T-Mac, Yao, Lebron, Amare, Nash, Dirk, Kidd, Marion) and a bunch of guys who are equally as good (Brand, Gasol, Carter, Areanas, Carmello, Marbury, Boozer, Ray Allen). He's very good, but not that special.

LeBron was overrated... but that's swinging back the other way now. And did you see him in the Detroit series? He's for real.

Melo is a better Paul Pierce, who is a better Glen Robinson. So, good... but kind of one dimensional.

Wade? Overrated? Have you ever watched him? You can't like Kobe and dislike Wade. he's heaven to watch, and Soooooooo skilled.

And T-mac... for all the knocks, no-one ever thought he was a franchise player. He was never ment to be. it just so happened that Hill went down in Orlando, and so his supporting cast was lacking, (and yes, he had some kinks in his game he needed to work on), and then he went to Houston, where he was supposed to be the second fiddle to Yao, but actually turned out to be a better player (if often injured). He keeps on having to be the best player on his team, which he is capable of being, but was never the intention!
Definitly Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett!!! they would be really good together.
Kobe is a big ballhog. I'll never choose him in a million years.

Dwayne Wade is the best no duh!

and I'd take Tracy Mcgrady .
kobe bryant and u didn't name a center so u really not gonna win a championship so i'll name my own

greg oden
1. LeBron- need a guard who can pass, Kobe doesnt pass much, T-Mac is injury prone. i woulda said them if these two facts werent true. Redd would be pretty good with shooting and defense but he hasnt stepped up in the playoffs

2. Bosh- need a dominant big man and Bosh can do it all
Why not just list the names without YOUR opinion. That is so lame! Why not get our opinions instead? If we want to get chosen as the best answer, we must kiss your a** and pick Kobe and Pierce, with considerations to Redd, Melo and Bosh.

I actually AGREE with you about Kobe as he's the best player in the game and Lebron would be my second choice, and Pierce (I love his game also) would be third. Wade and Bosh should be on your list, but Melo, Redd and McGrady shouldn't be on anyone's top ten list. Melo simply cares about getting his 30 and couldn't guard my grandmother. All three of them have never won a playoff series (maybe Redd won one series) so that disqualifies them altogether.

Duncan, Kidd, Nowitzki and Nash, plus about a dozen other players would be ahead of those three stiffs you put on your list so get a clue dude!
Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

If I had my own list, it would be Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.
Kobe Bryant and Chris Bosh. Kobe's the best player and Bosh is the only big man available.
Kobe and T-mac.
Kobe Bryant for sure, he is 2 dominant not to have.

Paul pierce is overrated, kobe had the same amount of talent and made the playoffs in a harder conference.

T-mac is a great player but he has never made it past the first round of the playoffs.

Redd shoots 2 much is not an asset to any team

Lebron is good but i already have kobe.

Carmelo is the same as Lebron

same with D-wade

Chris bosh still has more 2 prove after getting upset by new jersey.

MY second player would have to be either KG because he is a solid double double every night or dirk Novitkzki because he is so talented, or amare just because he is a freak of nature. i would draft Kidd third cause of the tirple doubles and my starting five would be

PG- Jason Kidd (3rd pick)

SG-Kobe Bryant (1st pick)

SF- Gerald Wallace (5th pick)

PF-Kevin Garnett (2nd pick)

C- Ben Wallace (4th pick)
Lebron James- 21 years old and nasty already

Dwight Howard- 21 years old and nasty too

1 big man and one swing man
man i would choose

Dwayne Wade and Kobe
kobe bryant and lebron James. They could carry and lead the team anytime
tim duncan and tony parker
LBJ and Wade.

Definitely the best combo and no conflict on position.
LBJ and wade. There not ovverated
kobe bryant- very experienced and of course the best right now

lebron james-dont really like him but he's a hell of a player
T- Mac and Melo from your list. From MY list: Marion and... hmmm... probably A.I.
I'll pick Kobe Bryant but I contradict your statement, he is not the best basketball player in NBA history. I'll pick because of his versatility, he is one of the most complete offensive player, a very good defender and can do anything.

Second, I'll choose Michael Redd, a very good shooter with range.

Lastly, I agree with you that Wade %26amp; McGrady are two of the most over-rated players.
kobe and garnett

or

kobe and dwight howard or amare
D-WADE and KG
From your list I would go with......

Lebron James

D-Wade
James because he is a great young graud

Bosh because he is a great young center-forward

If you were to start a Basketball Franchise; who'd you pick first?

I'd pick Steve Nash or LeBron James, I'm leaning towards Steve Nash.

If you were to start a Basketball Franchise; who'd you pick first?nba street v3

king james is the younger and will become better than nash. thats who i would take.

If you were to start a Basketball Franchise; who'd you pick first?nba jam ,nba teams

same, steve nash is a team leader and if i were to start a bball franchise he's just the guy i would need.
I'd pick Rasheed Wallace - yes we all know he is Mr. T(echnical) but he is one of the best PF in the league as he is dangerous in the low post but for a guy at 6'11 he can also shoot 3s consistantly.
Lebron James
LeBron or Chris Paul. Both amazing players that are young that could grow with your franchise unlike Steve Nash...who's about 10 years older than both of them. And they both have great careers ahead of them and they help make the players around them better too.
CP3
james would sell more tickets
Kobe is the most marketable player.

Nash is good but plays absolutely NO defense, and I would need to switch to a run and gun offense to suit him, and that offense hardly ever does good in the playoffs.

Lebron would be an iffy pick, since my team would be in the western conference. And, again, his defense is sub-par.

Why are the NBA Finals first 2 games at home and 3 games straight on the roadand then 1 @ home an so

Why isn't it 2-2-1-1-1 = 7 Games Total ? Why can't the NBA change this around it's an unfair advantage for the team that plays 1st 2 agmes at home in this case San Antonio why are they giving the road team an advantage? Isn't it more than enough that Cleveland has Lebron James on that team ?

Why are the NBA Finals first 2 games at home and 3 games straight on the roadand then 1 @ home an so on?nba hall of fame

Also they don't want the better seed to win in fewer games. Having a stretch of 3 road games often extends the series, imagine if last years finals was 2-2-1-1-1 then the Mavericks would have won, but Dallas was discouraged by losing on the road and it gave Miami momentum.

Why are the NBA Finals first 2 games at home and 3 games straight on the roadand then 1 @ home an so on?nba draft order ,nba teams

so they don't have to travel to a different state every other day. This way they'll have time to rest and stuff. Different attitude in states can wearout your enegery!
oh stop whining! i would think spurs fans would be happy that the first 2 games are in their house. i know we would have loved it if we could have had the first 2 games here in cleveland. but it makes no never mind cuz like u said we got LBJ so it dont matter if we r in ur house or ours. GO CAVS!!
To reduce travel time. It started when the Boston Celtics played the L.A. Lakers back in the 1980's. And it is a long flight from the east coast to the west coast.
it just way it is
2 - 3 - 2

So they don't have to travel so much.

And it gives the team that doesn't have the home court advantage for the series the opportunity to win a couple and extend the series and cause more drama. = More ticket sales and more money.
They are on a 2-3-2 format, not a 2-3-1-1. How is that an advantage? San Antonio has FOUR games at home. The Cavs have THREE. In primary school, i wa taught that three comes before four...
they do this so the players don't have to travel so much. Can you imagine traveling back and forth from San Antonio to Cleveland?? This would make for a terrible series because players would be exhausted and then there would be no advantage to anyone.

What postion would you build an nba franchise around?

would it be point guard and have a player like baron davis?would it be 2guard and have a player like dwade?would it be small forward and have a player like lebron james? would it be a power forward and have a player like tim duncan or a center like yao ming?

I would design my team around a small forward like lebron james who can handle the ball, pass the ball, shoot the ball and go to the rim strong. I think he has good chemistry with his teammates as well.

What postion would you build an nba franchise around?nba scores

I will build a franchise around a dominant center. My prototypes would be Bill Russel and Hakeem Olajuwon. IMHO, I think most NBA championship teams had a dominant center, with the exception of the MJ-led Bulls of course.

What postion would you build an nba franchise around?nba 07 ,nba teams

center
a point guard
well how bout if you want to win a championship next year. who out of current players in the NBA are you taking first in a fantasy draft? not looking long term i think you gotta take tim duncan. he's proven he can do it time and time again, and he anchors your defense. there may be better players(kobe, lebron, dwade) but duncan is money when it really counts. no substitute for a great big man.
Well, there have been dominant (or at least great) teams built around each position. I think the main point is getting two positions filled with great players. Michael had Scottie (and anyone that says a dominant team has to have a good center is proven wrong by the double three-peat of the Bulls) Shaq had Kobe (not the other way around), Magic had Kareem, Bird had Parish or McHale. In todays power teams, Timmy has Parker, Nash has Amare, Wade has Shaq (maybe not dominant this year, but last year)
You can build a franchise around any position player, as long as they have 1) star quality 2) charisma and 3) leadership abilities. Chris Bosh (toronto) is a PF, Kobe (LA) is SG, Kidd (NewJersey) is a PG, KG (Minnesota) can go C or PF. Youll find alot more are shooting guards though because getting on the scoresheet is the easiest way to get noticed. (that or you can average a triple-double like JKidd). Shooting guards are by far the most numerous franchise players (dwade tmac lebron kobe etc...) but you can build a franchise around any position.
Well, if I got to pick any one player I would pick LBJ. But if I got to choose a position from which every player was equal, I would choose PF. Center position has all but died. Now it is a PG, SG, 2 SF's and a PF or a PG, SG, SF, and 2 PF's. I would want someone like Tim Duncan or KG.
Center or power forward just because if you have a dominant big man then they demand the attention of the whole defense all the time and therefore opening up opportunities for the other players. Also, having a dominant big man means that your offensive rebounds will sky rocket and therefore giving your team second and third chance opportunities. Also helps defensively by forcing the opposing team to have to take deep jump shots instead of getting easy layups by driving to the hoop.
Depends who the best player is. In NBA history the majority of the best were Centers but the best of the best was probably MJ who is not a Center so it comes down to who is best. Might I remind you Bulls hold the record for the most dominant record ever with no dominant Center.
Look behind any great NBA team and I think u have to agree that a true center is the best position to run a franchise around... He cleans up the boards, relieves pressure off the gaurds if their shot is not on...and he can be a presentz on defense. If it wasn't for Greg Oden's great play in the NCAA championship Ohio State would have been blown out by a long shot! Lets just say thingz can be going haywire with guards and wingmen, but u can alwayz feed it to your sure big man to get the offense set.
Center you find one build around him and have a team

eg Lakers+Shaq, got him from Magic and got some talent and i guess that Bryant guy was a good reliever scorer
looking at the demise of the gsw, despite being prolific scorers i will say centre
Defiantly a Center. With the west being so big and having basically 2 centers on the floor at the same time you need to go big.
Centers or Power Forwards because great big men are tough to come by. And any "Deron Williams" types pops out all over the place.
would u rather build around Wilt the Stilt, Michael Jordan, Majic Johnson, that to me is the question, those three players i believe to be the best players to make a team better, u got to say the only man to score 100 pts in one game, who led the league in assists and pts one yr, which is tremendous, he is the one u want, but its what is available at the time, but a truly dominant center is where it all begins
it would be between a point guard like Jason Kidd, or a center like Ben Wallace or Eddy Curry
POSTION ??
My personal opinion is a Center. I say this because having a powerhouse center will collapse the defense into the key, and offer your guards and forewards a chance to take outside shots. Part of the success of Dwade is having Shaq in the key to pass back and forth to. With those two playing together, they open up shots for the rest of the team. There is no effective way to guard a center other than by double or triple teaming him. If you build a strong cast of shooters, and a driver or two around a very strong, very large center, you will find that everyone will be more successful than a team that actually bases around one player doing all the work.
that's an interesting question.

i dont think you can single out a player and just surround him with "role" players and call it a winning franchise. (ex KG, Pierce, Joe Johnson, Kobe, all the other big names carrying the team alone). you can't just have 1 star.

but i think, regardless of position, my franchise player has to be a leader. not just a dunker, athletic freak, or shooter. he has to be able to bring out the best in his team mates and exemplify what he preaches. if he says hustle, then he dives for loose balls, takes charges, and plays help defense. if he says score, he sets his teammates up and gets them going with his own shots. skills will always be there somewhere. heck, that's why they play pro ball. but leadership is rare.

good examples of these guys in the playoffs are Nash and Duncan. they dont play the game alone too. with my opinions on this series aside, they have a set of quality teammates, without whom Nash and Duncan wouldnt be superstars and MVP's in the first place.
You don't build a franchise around a particular position. Teams have tried to build around various star players but I don't think it works. It's better to have an entire team that gets along and shares the ball. Look at the Pistons: no superstars, just real solid players, fundamentally sound, playing as one unit. Teams don't know who to double when they play Detroit because they can all score. Joe Dumars has done a great job of building that franchise by finding the right pieces to the puzzle. Not many other teams have been as successful the last five years as Detroit.

Go Pistons!

Who would you want taking the last shot in a game?

The games on the line, who you takin'

-Kobe Bryant

-Carmelo Anthony

-Gilbert Arenas

-Michael Redd

-Lebron James

-Dwyane Wade

I took this poll at nba.com and just wanted to know who would you choose and why. Kobe dominated the poll with having about 45 states in the U.S. and around 50% of the international community. And I don't want to hear any Kobe haters, **** all of you Kobe haters, I don't need to hear you bull **** comments. Keep it to yourselves and do whatever you Kobe haters do.

Who would you want taking the last shot in a game?

I've never liked Kobe Bryant's personality, or swagger, and I think last season, in particular, he was a very selfish player. But, this season, he seems to be making more of an effort to let all his teammates get involved, and, as a result, I think the Lakers are a better team because of it, and have a chance to go deeper into the playoffs. He's definitely Mr. Clutch right now in the NBA, and has been, ever since MJ retired. Arenas is coming on strong though, and Wade really showed a warriors heart by bringing the Heat back from a 2-0 defecit in the Finals last year against Dallas. But for now, I'd still rather have Kobe, then anyone else, when it comes to taking that last shot. One player you didn't mention on your list, whose been flying under the radar of most NBA fans, but has hit close to a dozen game winning shots for his team over the last couple years, is Mehmet Okur, of the Jazz. And don't forget, Robert Horry. That guys made practically made a living for himself out of hitting big shot, after big shot, in the playoffs (no matter what team he's played for).

Who would you want taking the last shot in a game?nba live 2006 ,nba teams

Clutch shots in the regular season don't really matter unless your playoff hopes are on the line. Now in the playoffs that's when it counts. With that being said you go with Kobe, Dirk, Lebron, Nash. Wade is nice but he's not really clutch. Lebron is more likely to pass than to take the last shot. So that leaves Kobe, Dirk, and Nash. With the way that they are shooting now, I'd say 1. Dirk 2. Kobe 3. Nash. And no I'm not hating on Agent Zero but he missed 2 free throws in the playoffs and didn't advance. So he still has to prove he can make the shots when they count. Some honarable mentions: Billups, Mcgrady, and probably the best Clutch Shooter still in the game ROBERT HORRY!!!
Gilbert. . .hes showed up big this whole yr so id count on agent 0
Michael Redd!
i will count on Kobe Bryant first, gilbert arenas second, dwayne wade third. They all are miracle players with a few seconds left and win the game. Kobe can make a shot anywhere, and so can gilbert but i choose kobe first. ~~
Dirk
sasha vujacic
well i mean u don't want to just give up if ur losing and there's like 5 seconds left if u miss it then ya every1 i guess will be disappointed but then again if u make it every1 would be real happy n stuff
Steve Nash,hands down.
Melo!!!! best clutch shooter in the league!!!
Kobe is aight and even better is Arenas but my money would be on Iverson as he is clutch...Iverson is much more poised than everyone else but kobe is not far behind.

1 Iverson

2 Kobe

3 Arenas

4 Nash
Kobe is the man but right now Agent 0 is hot so 1.Arenas 2.Kobe 3.Melo
Right now?

At this moment?

Give me Agent Zero: Gilbert Arenas.
dirk dont care bout others cause not on dallas.
Vince Carter!!!!!!!!!!
Kobe of course...you know why? you dont have too. Thats who he is.
Dirk Norwitzki
Dirk, statistically the best shooter from any spot on the court.
The way Gilbert Arenas has been shooting the rock so far this season, he'd be my first choice. Kobe and Tmac tied for 2nd, especially when they get into that freaky zone they get into and where they just hit crazy-azz shots like they're nothing. Michael Redd and Carmelo tied for 3rd.

Gilbert, Kobe and Tmac are freaks with all the ways they can score.
Gilbert Arenas is really in form...but thats this year

But as a huge Kobe fan, KOBE!!!

Just witness NBA Finals 2004 against the Pistons.

What do you feel about today's athletes and their salaries?

Just wanted to know your opinions. I felt it disturbing that Lebron James wants to be the first billion dollar athlete. Isn't there a time when we say enough is enough?!

What do you feel about today's athletes and their salaries?nba live 2007

Its absolutely ridiculous to me. Here we are completely idolizing these athletes, paying them WAY too much money and pushing more important professions aside like teachers! If every professional athlete would just take a million dollars less so that teachers could get paid more, the US education system would be in much better shape....and the kids would get better educated! To me its pathetic, and when some professional athlete complains that they need more millions of dollars than they already make, it makes me think of just how twisted these peoples morals are......

What do you feel about today's athletes and their salaries?nba betting ,nba teams

Salary Caps are one of the greatest ideas in professional sports. Although may mean the breaking up of some of my favorite teams but at least it keeps the salaries under somewhat control. It's sad to think that most athletes make more money then our president (although in now times i think that may be a good idea, lol) People like Lebron James make me sick. How can you sit there and ask for what was it $120 million contract!?! To PLAY a game. Any normal hardworking person now can retire after one season in just about any professional athlete's shoes. It's just sickening to see all that money in the hands of those greedy people, the ones that are greedy of course.
Way out of control. Why should you pay a guy millions just to throw a ball?
I think salaries are OUTRAGEOUS!!
yea that is a lot of money. but tiger woods is gonna be the first billion dollar athlete. i just got the new sports illustrated with an article on him. he's made over half a billion already and just renewed his nike contract for 110 million.

Lebron isn't living up to the hype now, is he?

He was inaccurately dubbed "King James" for some reason. The only stat, in the finals, that Lebron has matched from his regular season stats is rebounding (there is no pressure in rebounding).

He has shot 35% from the floor, not to mention 2-13 from the 3-point line. He has averaged 1 assists less pergame in the finals than he did in the regular season and 1 more rebound per.

Also, last night with 10 seconds left to play and his team down 2 he passed the ball to, of all people, Anderson Varejeo. Now all people want to talk about is why he didn't get the call on the desperation 3 he threw up with 4.5 seconds left, plenty of time to get a good shot off.

I'm sorry for Lebron fans but your guy is no KING, right now, "KINGS" don't pass up shots with the season, and the championship, on the line.

We are all "WITNESS" of this horrible display of leadership in crunch time. Claveland fans RISE UP b/c "KING JAMES" isn't going to.

GO SPURS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DYNASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lebron isn't living up to the hype now, is he?nba season

I agree. The hype has come too early for Lebron. All that he has accomplished is taking his team to the Finals. He hasn't won a ring and maybe he never will. I do believe that he has potential, but as of now he is simply overhyped. All of the commercials and highlights of Lebron are going to be worth nothing when his team is eliminated in their next game. He takes all kinds of jump shots even though he is not a great jump shooter. He passes the ball to players like Varejeo when the game is on the line. Varejeo has no business even touching the ball at that point, so it was Lebron's fault for putting him in that situation. One day he may be great, but not yet.

LE-BROOM is a JOKE. he and his bootleg mjordan jersey. Report It

LOL, well Stern thought he got the perfect match up by forcing out the Pistons to give room for LeFraud and the whole team choked. Guess you can't play that well when the whistles are not helping you.

get out LeBrooms
Dude he's 24 yrs old..........when you turn 24 I bet you'll be still working at McDonald's or Burger King as a Night shift manager...... dude he's only 24.....not many of us (or none at all) has ever accomplish what he did at 24....most NBA players start there rookie year at that age........Now if your Greg Oden, dude looks like his 40 yrs old or he failed kinder garden 10 times.......
back off LeBron, he has NO supporting cast what so ever, da cavs should trade everybody execpt bron and get gilbert areanas, a two man team that would be unstoppable

congrats on your spurs
I'm a great Spurs fan .. and I have to say you r wrong in this .. Lebron is a great player .. He is only 22 and he will dominate one day .. He is not mature enough and he needs a better supporting cast .. With this team even Jordan would not have done better .. Cleveland along with Miami will dominate the east in the future ..

But Go Spurs ... Dynasty .. # 4 and still counting ..
well give him something to work with. he had absolutely no support last night . . . i mean if hes the only guy on the team that can score then you can just focus on him
Youre right, he isn't. And to someone that posted an answer, If he NEEDS support, why is he dubbed "KING James"? From what I know, Kings don't need support. He needs another nickname then. We will all be a "WITNESS" of the Cavs basically handing over the championship to the Spurs. Go Spurs!
